My goal as a therapist is to create a warm, trusting and nonjudgmental environment where you will feel heard and understood in every session. Much of the success that takes place in therapy coincides with a strong relationship between the client and therapist. I love what I do, and I am deeply committed to developing a collaborative and authentic relationship with all of my clients. With a foundation in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, I give my clients the tools to overcome their challenges and find balance in their lives.
I have a strong interest in treating clients struggling with anxiety, obsessions/compulsions, phobias, depression, life transitions, women’s issues, depression, autism, and ADHD. I enjoy working with teens and adults and have many years of experience working in a variety of settings.
I am a New York State licensed therapist with a Master’s degree in Social Work from Boston University. I use an eclectic approach to therapy with an emphasis on solution-focused, evidence-based therapy which includes TEAM CBT and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
