I believe deeply in teamwork and use compassion, creativity, humor, and mutual respect to work with you to make the positive change you are seeking in your life. I work with children, adolescents and adults with mental health challenges to regain their strength, resilience and confidence using cognitive and behavioral coping, problem-solving, and productive thinking methods. I also partner with clients who are interested in learning how additional mind-body wellness tools and habits can augment their healing journey, including exploring nutrition, exercise, sleep, meditation, visualization, journaling and art therapy. My therapeutic approach draws on the healing, affirming and empowering aspects of Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Positive Psychology to build your self esteem, your skills and your joy.
I have experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, school-related issues, relationship difficulty, challenging life transitions, stress management, parenting and performance coaching.
I am a NY and CT licensed therapist with a Masters degree in Social Work from New York University. I have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from The Beck Institute and in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) from Behavior Tech, and I have a Level 2 certification in the evidence-based TEAM-CBT approach.
