My favorite part of being a therapist is the continuously evolving relationship that I foster with my clients. I love learning about my clients – everything that makes them who they are, from their interests to their cultural influences to their friends and family, and how all of this impacts the way they view the world.

I am passionate about assisting clients who suffer from anxiety, relationship issues, and addictions, but also love to work with clients with a variety of other concerns including depression, body image issues, self-esteem, trauma, and more. I use an open, empathetic, and relaxed approach that is free of judgment and provide counseling that is both culturally competent and LGBTQ+ affirming.

I received my Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from New York University and have experience working in private practice and intensive outpatient substance use programs. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but also implement other evidenced-based approaches such as motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy techniques as needed. I can integrate methods based on what works best for you and what you wish to seek in treatment; I can also help you to stay present, develop coping skills, and examine how your thought patterns could be impacting the way you are feeling.

I love that as a therapist I get the chance to show my clients a new way of approaching their struggles, and help them learn to value themselves for who they are. I look forward to the chance to be with you on this journey; whatever you are struggling with, we can work it out together.
